1953 - Bear Mtn. was a one time, hurry up, offer "some" training for the summer and finish formal training later. June 17, 1953 start, 279 recruits. (Ref Annual Report 1953) The 38th - 41st Sessions of the New York State School for Police completed the training. Use the 1950's Sessions button. At the bottom of this page are five images believed from Camp Smith. Not yet determined if they relate to Bear Mnt. Training. Some are from a different time. Any help identifying those images will be appreciated.
