"the Trooper" was published by the Division of State Police from May, 1963 to 1994. Initially it was black and white monthly issue. In 1976 publication was bi-monthly. The 1990's saw a publication decline due to budget constraints. The last full year, bi-monthly in personal archives is 1991. The plan is to establish separate pages of the calendar years, 1960's 1970's etc. Each button below provides a link to the scanned covers of the era. The text of some have been scanned. Pages with pictures were not all scanned as a matter of efficiency.
Over 300 issues were published. It was well received. Many members saved their copy as one was provided every one on the job, and for a period mailed to retired members. Budget problems are to the demise
